Job Title: Graphic Designer
Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Reports to: Creative Director
Position Summary
The designer plays a critical role in conceptualizing and executing engaging visual marketing materials and brand campaigns for LIFE Camp and its teams, partner-projects, initiatives, and events. This role is part of LIFE Camp's newly formed Creative Department with a mission to establish a bold and consistent brand identity, and drive awareness about LIFE Camp’s social impact amongst new and existing audiences. Reporting to the Creative Director, this person will be responsible for designing compelling marketing collateral across various touchpoints. This role will contribute to the concept, design and execution of creative content for LIFE Camp’s messaging campaign. This role will also contribute to the team's effort to design media that supports the brand ethos, but also pushes the boundaries of the brand's public perception. This role is based in New York Metro Area.

Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Creative Director, create boundary-pushing marketing assets for LIFE Camp, its teams, its initiatives, and its events
Contribute to full marketing campaign design execution from concept to final delivery
Collaborate closely with Creative Director, Senior (Principal) Designer, Video Editor, Photographers, Copywriter, Marketing Manager, and Social Media Manager to make visual concepts come to life for a wide range of assignments for various audiences
Participate in creative collaboration and regular alignment across LIFE Camp’s partners’ design teams
Contribute to the brand marketing style guide and global style guide implementation
Requirements and skills
Must include link to design portfolio for consideration
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts/Graphic Design/Visual Communications or commensurate experience
3-5+ years as a Designer working with a creative team in Marketing, Advertising, Media or Publishing, non-profit, education, preferably in an agency-like environment
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator), basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (AfterEffects, InDesign), working knowledge of Figma (a plus), knowledge of Webflow web design (a plus)
Strong typographic sensibility
Experience in animation and motions graphics
Experience in paid social and best practices a plus
Photo and video art direction experience a plus
Illustration or digital video editing experience a plus
Must be comfortable following design direction and implementing changes, while balancing strong design and meeting tight deadlines
Unwavering attention to detail and an acute awareness that everything counts
